OOTD Feb 25- Flashdance, but with more leather

I recently gave in to my weird desire for actual ballet shoes. I had forgotten what a pain sewing on the elastics is (having not had any since I was 12)... but they are lovely for puttering about in. I don't think I'd wear them outdoors, but this time of year I can just slip 'em into my boots.

Also, I've never actually seen Flashdance, is that bad?

I love these leggings but they're extremely difficult to get into, and even harder to get out of- I keep worrying that the house will go up in flames while I'm half-dressed and hog-tied, trying to drag the tiny ankle openings over my heels...

This sweater has great legging-butt-coverage (as I am so elegantly attempting to demonstrate, here.) Unfortunately the neck is unravelling, which is very annoying. 

Not entirely sure WHAT is going on, here...

Outfit- Fish legs

You may all decide to hate me but... I'm going to start doing outfit posts. I've been wanting to do a fashiony blog for ages but I just can't justify starting yet ANOTHER blog, especially when this one is often so neglected. They'll probably be slow at first but I hope to have a good set-up once we move, which will hopefully be soon...ish. Stay tuned if you're into such things :-)

Yesterday (the 29th) was my birthday and the leggings were a gift from Travis, so of course I had to take them out for a stroll... and by "a stroll" I mean "to Baskin-Robbins for free ice cream, then Sephora for free lipbalm, then the book store for a 'free' book" (that last one ended up being more of an $8 discount because I set my sights a little high. I'll have to post about the book I got at some point, it's gorrrgeous.)
